Marsh Harrier's

Marsh Harrier's are widespread winter visitors to our part of the country and are very commonly found through out the Indian Subcontinent. It is also very easy to recognize this low flying raptor. As the name suggests they are found near marshes, wetlands and grasslands.

King Fisher

In the esteemed presence of his majesty. It my honor to introduce The King and the queen Pied Kingfishers  of royal wetland Pariej. A superb wetland once at Pariej on a early morning you would feel as if you are standing in front of ocean. Definitely worth a visit if you love outdoors and would want to spent a quite evening with nature to give you company.

Flamingo Flock

Family portrait of Greater Flamingo's. It not that difficult to isolate these guys to make some different kind of images. They always give you the opportunity to try and experiment. All you need to do is be there and have some silence around you. 

One of the alert male of the flock on the look out for any kind of danger.

Always a treat to watch these guys take off.

Gujarat Trip (Navratri)

To start with Gujarat Trip was a complete surprise to one and all in the family. Wanted to visit Velavadar, Sasan Gir and the Little Rann. However will be going home satisfied. Most of the Images below were taken at Thol, Ahmedabad.
